Directions & Parking

Driving Directions

There is only one road that leads to Key West: U.S. Route 1.

From Miami International Airport, take LeJeune Road south to 836 West. Take the Florida Turnpike south toward Key West. The Turnpike ends at U.S. Route 1 in Florida City. Follow U.S. Route 1 south about 22 miles to Key Largo and you are now in the Florida Keys. Continue on U.S. Route 1 until you end in Key West (approx. 100 miles).

From Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, exit the airport and follow the signs for 595 West. Take 595 to the Florida Turnpike and follow the signs for the Florida Keys.

From the north, take the Florida Turnpike south to just below Ft. Lauderdale, where Exit 4 joins the southern portion of the Turnpike. The Turnpike ends at U.S. Route 1 in Florida City. Follow U.S. Route 1 south into the Florida Keys.

From Florida’s west coast, take 1-75 Alligator Alley east to the Miami exit, and south to the Turnpike Extension.

Flying Directions

Key West is very accessible by air. Most major carriers or their commuter affiliates offer daily service into and out of Key West. From Miami or Ft. Lauderdale it’s a short 30-minute flight.

Parking

Due to our location in Historic Old Town Key West, we do not have an on site parking facility. However, our neighborhood is privileged two have numerous free parking spots along our street (Fleming St) and adjacent streets.  There are two types of parking in our neighborhood. Residential (marked directly on the pavement) which require a local residential permit, but for each residential there are usually one or two BLANK parking spaces that have no time limit or fee for parking.
